PEXA and AICWA partner for 2019

By PEXA - January 23, 2019

Western Australia strode into 2019 after successfully implementing its e-Conveyancing compliance date on 1 December 2018.

Embracing this change and showing continuous support for industry’s digital transformation, AICWA and PEXA have joined forces with a sponsorship agreement. AICWA Executive Officer, Dion Dosualdo, shared his thoughts on the partnership’s promising future.

“Partnering with PEXA as an AICWA sponsor has been a long time in the making. From its early inception, PEXA has made the effort to support and be part of the conveyancing profession here in WA, with a commitment to both education and best practice. Employing expertise from a broad range of disciplines, the Perth PEXA Direct team has established an exceptional reputation in a relatively short period of time. With such wonderful people representing PEXA both locally and in Melbourne the AICWA is proud to have PEXA join our select group of sponsorship partners.

The PEXA team, especially the PEXA Direct team here in Perth, has become part of the conveyancing landscape so it made perfect sense to take the next step and work more closely with PEXA as a valued sponsorship partner. In the lead up to the recent announcement, PEXA has demonstrated keen support for education and training, two key fundamental principles we at the AICWA hold very dear. We look forward to working collaboratively with PEXA as electronic conveyancing continues to revolutionise how we settle property. “

PEXA’s Chief Customer Officer, Lisa Dowie, shared similar optimism for the year to come.

“PEXA has always been a strong supporter of AICWA and the effective work it does to inform and educate its members. AICWA and PEXA’s relationship has strengthened over the past five years and our sponsorship agreement has solidified this partnership. The WA PEXA team and I, look forward to working closely with AICWA this year as the state continues to transition to 100% electronic property transactions.”
