PEXA Group Independent Non-Executive Director, Dr Kirstin Ferguson, was awarded an AM (Member of the Order of Australia) as part of the 2023 Australia Day Honours list.
The Order of Australia recognises Australians who have demonstrated outstanding service or exceptional achievement.
Individuals are appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for service in a particular locality or field of activity or to a particular group.
Dr Ferguson was acknowledged for her significant service to business and to gender equality.
During her executive career, Dr Ferguson has held executive roles as the CEO of an international consulting organisation, a senior executive in a corporate law firm and an Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force.
She has also been Deputy Chair of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and an independent director on the board of a number of non-profit organisations.
In addition to her work with PEXA, Dr Ferguson is currently an independent director on the board of technology company Envato Pty Ltd.
