When it comes to our environment, we recognise that the actions we take today are critical to protecting our planet for future generations. It’s why we’re committed to understanding and taking accountability for our impact, taking steps to address it and aligning our actions to global goals.
We are very proud of our commitment to become net zero across scope 1 and 2 (our direct emissions) by 2025. As a digital-based business, this is not only achievable but we believe it’s critical. While our footprint is relatively small, we know every tonne of carbon we reduce helps contribute to the future of our planet, a responsibility we take seriously.
In 2021 we completed our inaugural greenhouse gas emissions inventory, in line with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol standards. We now have an in-depth understanding of our emissions profile and the areas of our business which contribute to it. This information is fundamental in our emissions reduction and offset strategies.
We’ve focused on making our offices more environmentally friendly.
In 2016 we relocated our head office to Collins Square, an environmental performance focused office space with a 4.5 star NABERS energy rating
We’ve switched our lights to motion sensors, so we don’t use more energy than we need
We’ve introduced ‘Follow me’ print in all five of our office spaces, to put a stop to unnecessary printing
