PEXA’s shared value partnership is designed to enhance our competitiveness while importantly advancing the economic and social conditions of the communities we operate in.

A shared value partnership differs from a typical corporate social responsibility program in that the commercial imperatives are transparent and aligned. We believe this is the best way to create a long term, sustainable impact!

We are proud to be working with Homes for Homes as our shared value partner. Homes for Homes is a not-for-profit organisation that works with industry in the creation of sustainable housing - typically through government grand funding and donations.

PEXA’s shared value partnership with Homes for Homes extends our social contract beyond the safe and secure settlement of property, through to the provision of housing for those most in need.

About Homes for Homes

Homes for Homes

Through our technology, we assist 20,000 families settle their new homes weekly, yet homelessness continues to be a prominent concern across the country, with more than 116,000 people sleeping homeless every night.

Homes for Homes is a simple promise, that when a home sells, 0.1% of the sale price will be donated, with funds going towards helping create social and affordable homes for those in need. A caveat remains on the property until the owner decides to withdraw, encouraging future homeowners to ‘pay it forward, enabling the same asset to generate further donations each time it is transacted.

In partnership with Homes for Homes, PEXA has enabled this donation to be easily completed online during a property transaction.

Small Business Australia

PEXA is proud to be a Founding Partner of the Buy Local movement. This initiative was been established to unite major organisations nationwide, banding together to support and celebrate Australian small businesses.

It aims to help them endure the economic impacts of COVID-19 by driving awareness of the current climate and encouraging consumers, whether online, over the phone or face-to-face – to buy and support their locals.

Additionally, we’re providing PEXA members with free access to Small Business Australia’s knowledge suite, which includes more than 50 learning resources, videos and digital business tools.

Alannah and Madeline Foundation

Refuges and emergency foster care offer a safe space for tens of thousands of vulnerable children each year. The Alannah & Madeline Foundation provides thousands of ‘Buddy Bags’ – containing basic, essential items such as toothbrushes, pyjamas, underwear, socks and more – for children who often arrive at emergency accommodation with just the clothes they are wearing.

The PEXA team regularly volunteers to pack Buddy Bags, so that they are ready and waiting when a child needs it.

We also invest in fundraising for the Foundation, including donations from parents who bring their kids to PEXA’s complimentary school holiday programme, and sponsoring its yearly gala event, Starry Starry Night.

GoodCompany

Our volunteer policy gives PEXA employees the opportunity to take one day per year to volunteer at a not-for-profit organisation of their choice – individually or with their colleagues.

We’ve partnered with GoodCompany to connect our employees with more than 1,500 volunteer opportunities on an easy to use Workplace Giving platform. Through the platform, the PEXA team can choose to donate to, fundraise for, or volunteer with, an organisation of their choice.
