Executive team


Glenn King - Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

Glenn was appointed CEO of PEXA in 2019, following a distinguished career in customer service and change. Previously, Glenn spent several years as a senior public servant at NSW Government, leading and executing the Premier’s Implementation Unit. Most recently he was the NSW Customer Service Commissioner and Secretary of the NSW Government’s Department of Customer Service.

Glenn has led a range of successful sector-wide reforms, delivering on the NSW Government’s commitment to put customers at the centre of service and simplifying citizen interactions with government.  Prior to Government, Glenn held domestic and international senior executive roles across the National Australia Bank group and as executive at Save the Children. Glenn was also appointed a Fellow of the Institute of Public Administration Australia for outstanding contribution to study or practice of public administration.

Lisa Dowie - Chief Customer Officer

Lisa joined PEXA in 2012 and has held various roles in both Technology and Operations. She plays and instrumental part in evolving the way property is transacted in Australia. Lisa represents and advocates for lawyers and conveyancers nationally – guiding the market through the ongoing digitisation of property settlements. She has 20 years’ experience in Finance, Information Technology and Telecommunications industries. Prior to joining PEXA, Lisa led various transformation initiatives at ANZ and Telstra, and spent time in the United Kingdom working with Accenture and JP Morgan Chase.

Lisa brings to her role extensive experience in championing transformation, stakeholder management and operational excellence. She has successfully motivated and inspired teams to deliver large-scale change, driving the optimum customer experience.

Richard Moore - Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining PEXA as its Chief Financial Officer in February 2020, Richard was the CFO at MYOB for 8 years, overseeing its transition from private to public ownership with what at the time was Australia’s largest Tech IPO in May 2015. At MYOB Richard was responsible for a broad Group Services portfolio, including Finance, Legal, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) and IT. Richard has more than 20 years business experience, holding senior finance roles across a diverse range of industries, including CFO of Jetstar Airways (part of the Qantas Group), CFO of Bankwest Business and numerous finance roles at GE Capital across both the UK and Australia, after starting his career with PwC in Edinburgh.

He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and is member of the Board and Finance Committee at Kilvington Grammar School, in Ormond, Melbourne.

Marielle Yeoh - Chief Marketing, Corporate Affairs & FI Officer

Marielle has nearly 20 years of experience in the Financial Service sector. Prior to joining PEXA, Marielle held a number of roles at the National Australia Bank and Australia and New Zealand Banking Group. She has deep subject matter expertise of banking as well as a diverse appreciation of customer needs. At PEXA, Marielle has driven the industry transformation by taking a collaborative approach, working closely with Australia’s financial institutions as well adjacent property settlement stakeholders. She uses her in depth knowledge of the industry to lead the Marketing, Corporate Affairs function and Financial Services function.

Marielle holds a Bachelor of Banking and Finance from Monash University (Melbourne) and was awarded the IT Innovator of the year in the 2017 Women in Finance Awards.

Simon Smith - Chief Operations Officer

Simon is responsible for enabling a favourable regulatory environment, devising and delivering business simplification and modernised enterprise architecture, information and cyber security, and the provision of business technology. He joined PEXA in December 2020 from international management consultancy Nous Group, where he worked extensively with government and university leaders developing strategy, delivering transformation and strengthening governance practices.

Simon has also extensive experience in the public sector, having served 24 years with the NSW Government in several roles including Secretary of the Department of Industry under then Premier Mike Baird; CEO of the Department of Finance, Services and Innovation; and Deputy Director General of the Department of Premier and Cabinet (Economic Policy).

Chris Bodikian, Chief Innovation Officer, PX Ventures

Chris’ experience covers roles in strategy, corporate development, product and partnerships with technology start-ups. Chris also worked for 4 years in J.P. Morgan's Corporate and Investment Bank.

At PEXA, Chris played a major role in the $1.6bn trade sale of PEXA to Morgan Stanley Infrastructure, Link Group and Commonwealth Bank of Australia in 2018.  

Chris has completed his MBA at Melbourne Business School (MBS), where he received a scholarship and was President of the MBS Finance Association. He also has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) at UTS.

James Bawa - CEO UK

James is a highly motivated executive leader with extensive experience in transformational change across financial and property sectors in the United Kingdom.

James was CEO at JN Bank UK, a cloud-based challenger bank which he set up and obtained a new license for and CEO at Teachers Building Society, where he was responsible for re-engineering the society into a specialist lender (also wining “Best Local Building Society 2011-13), Monmouthshire Building Society and Scottish Legal Life Assurance Society.  James has also led transformation in call centres and a challenger bank subsidiary. James has extensive regulatory experience with over 12 years as a panel member of the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). James applies a communicative, energetic, participative, and inspirational leadership-style.

Scott Butterworth - Chief Data and Analytics Officer

With more than 25 years’ corporate experience, Scott Butterworth joined PEXA in November 2021 as Chief Data and Analytics Officer responsible for PEXA’s Insights business. Prior to joining PEXA, Scott was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for ASX-listed firm, Slater & Gordon. He has also held senior roles at Boston Consulting Group, National Australia Bank, Westpac and Clydesdale Bank, where he served as both CFO and Chief Data Officer.   

Scott brings to his role a passion for harnessing data-driven insights to provide value to government, financial institutions, PEXA members and the broader property sector.

In his newly appointed role, Scott will lead the PEXA Insights business in the creation of products and services which will bring these invaluable data insights to market.

Eglantine Etiemble – Chief Technology Officer, PEXA Group

Eglantine is a versatile global executive. She has delivered complex projects and led technology teams in over 20 countries across Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific in consulting, telco, manufacturing, retail and consumer goods. She has a proven track record in delivering new operating model design and implementation, transformation through technology, mergers and acquisitions, introduction of new ways of working and built in-house innovation incubators.

In parallel to her corporate career, she also launched a start-up project.  More recently, Eglantine led DuluxGroup’s IT and Digital team for over 4 years.  Passionate about diversity of gender and background, Eglantine has been involved as a mentor with asylum seekers and women in IT organisations.  Eglantine has a Bachelor of Business from Oxford Brookes University and Excelia, France.
