The Better Together campaign is a pricing offer that has supported practitioners by providing 50% off all PEXA fees for Incoming Proprietors and Proprietors on Title on Workspaces opened and settlements completed involving Queensland properties. The 50% discount on PEXA fees is applicable to Transfers, Priority Notices and Transmissions. We appreciate that the change for firms and the industry as a whole is significant and running dual processes is not ideal. The 50% discount on fees has been an initiative to enable PEXA to help members navigate this challenge.
In support of industry, PEXA’s 50% discount on fees for Transfers, Priority Notices and Transmissions related to Queensland properties has been extended to 31 December 2020, at which point the offer will conclude and pricing will re-align with our national schedule. The QLD market has progressed significantly, which is testament to how members have embraced online settlements. We recognise that your business and clients may be sensitive to changes in price and we wanted to reach out to you ahead of time, enabling you to prepare.
The Workspace must settle within the campaign period to receive the discount. If the Workspace is created during the campaign period but settles or rolls over to settle outside the campaign period, the full PEXA fees may apply.
At this stage, there is no change. We will announce the new pricing in late November, at which time any contracts or letters can be updated for new settlements occurring from 1 January 2021.
1. The Better Together pricing offer (“Offer’) is a limited time offer featuring a 50% discount in PEXA fees for certain transactions undertaken via the PEXA Platform.
2. The Offer:
i) is open to all PEXA members regardless of location, but only for properties located in Queensland.
ii) is available from 18 November 2019 to 31 December 2020 (inclusive)
iii) only applies to the following land title documents in the role of both Incoming Proprietor and Proprietor on Title:
• Priority Notices, and
3. PEXA reserves the right to cease, extend or alter the Offer at any time.
