Between juggling settlements and motherhood Katherine Hanson, Director, C&R Conveyancing South found time in her busy schedule to tell us how C&R South became the highest online transfer transactor in Australia and how e-Conveyancing has helped her balance work/life.

In a typical day of a working parent, Katherine was managing a sick child, work appointments and a household all while sharing her e-Conveyancing experiences and successes to date.

 

Natural progression

“I adapted to e-Conveyancing the minute I could, this is how I run my business now – no questions asked. Let’s face it, technology is the natural progression for a successful business. This approach has given us the opportunity to settle online as much as possible ultimately resulting in C&R South being the #1 transfer transactor in the country; an accolade of which the team are extremely proud.

I use every electronic platform available to me to promote my business, and PEXA is part of this. Social media is another fundamental to running a successful business and thanks to PEXA and social media’s flexibility I’ll be able to work from the comforts of my own home when I go on maternity leave, which is rolling around quite quickly.
 

9am settlements were unheard of

Before PEXA, a 9.00am settlement was unheard of, now I schedule all my online settlements between 9.00 – 11.00am for my clients. Reducing their stress and giving them the chance to move into their new home earlier rather than later is a fantastic add-on for my clients that I could never offer before PEXA.

Also with settlements wrapped up before midday I can be out of the office at 3pm if required, allowing me to dedicate enough time to my family.

Although the benefits of e-Conveyancing are numerous another one of my favourites is the speed that titles are lodged and updated - it’s amazing.
 

It’s an exciting time

It’s an exciting time to be a part of, I have enjoyed evolving alongside our industry and working closely with the banks, giving us the chance to work in unison and regenerate our professional relationships.
