KDD Conveyancing Services dominate online transfers

By PEXA • Dec 2016

Australia’s top transfer transactor, KDD Conveyancing Services, has reached a boastful 100 transfers

This enviable result is thanks to the firm’s innovative spirit, improving their processes and showing their clients how they embrace new technology.

Kylie Dillon, Director of KDD Conveyancing Services, tells us about KDD’s digital pathway and how important technology has been for their business’ development.

Test & Measure

“In addition to our residential transactions we handle a portfolio of developments. The sheer volume of development lots coming through our firm was reason enough for us to adapt to e-Conveyancing, Kylie explains. If I waited until online transactions became mandatory I risked not meeting the service levels my clients are used to, especially my developers.

Now, we are ready! With 100 transfers in our pocket, we look forward to settling in the developer space when the opportunity presents itself.

Our test and measure approach allowed us to work closely with our PEXA Direct Specialist, learn as we went and gain more and more confidence settling online.

PEXA never left us without an answer. In providing necessary feedback, they learned as much from our settlements as we did from them. Any time we hit a road block we overcame it and they applied that knowledge to improve the platform – a similar approach we take in improving our services.”

In-house innovation

Continuing down their digital pathway, KDD developed an app which calculates stamp duty and transfer fees on the spot – putting everything Reps and Brokers need at their fingertips.

“With stamp duty looming large in the minds of potential buyers, our app allows people to make decisions with confidence. Processes change all the time to digital and with electronic conveyancing in play, it was an ideal time for us to show the people we work with, along with future clients, that we’re embracing new technology and aren’t afraid to move forward.

PEXA is another platform that helps us do this and I’d recommend everyone to get on-board now. Leave professional competition to the wayside, this is the time and opportunity to help each other through this transition.”

“Reach out now! The e-Conveyancing Community is the perfect place to speak with PEXA users. There are plenty of conveyancers on the Community that are willing to share their knowledge and encourage you to make the move online. Tag me in your post by typing “@KD” if you’d like to ask me a question about my e-Conveyancing experience.

PEXA also offers an abundance of other support, I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with my PEXA Direct Specialist and the PEXA Support Centre. I’m sure they can help guide you on the path to 100 transfers too!
